Extended Reiki Training
Become a confident, well trained practitioner
Reiki Ryoho can lead to the discovery of many new things about the world of energy. As students progress through their training, The Dojo provides a space to ask questions, learn the why's and how's of this mysterious energy and to explore with other practitioners who have gone through the same things you have. Whether you've been practicing each day since your class or haven't meditated in years, if you have taken your Komyo Reiki with us, you can come to one of these for an attunement, a reminder and to get reconnected. Remember, the energy never leaves you.
Tuesday's....Alternating afternoons at one and evenings at 7. Open to all degrees.
Monthly.....A day of topic study, divided by Degrees. Usually Saturdays for two hours.

Degree Topic Training
Once you take your Shoden Degree, the focus is on self practice. Many of our students stay at this level for an extended time. It is at this stage that the Reiki clears the practitioner's field and she/he heals self. At Chuden Level, the Practitioner enters a period of learning focusing on healing techniques to be used with others. Okuden Degree students are experiencing a change in their Reiki as they learn to trust their own inner wisdom. These two hour sessions explore topics that focus on the specific degrees. You will receive an attunement for each class.
Shoden Training
In first degree, we center the training on allowing the first degree healer to learn about themselves as an energetic being. Topics cover such instruction as grounding, feeling the energy, meditation, the hand positions, chakras, disconnecting from others and many other tools needed to create a solid foundation. Each class includes an attunement, an opportunity to ask questions and a topic for specific study.

Chuden Training
Second degree classes cover extra training on such topics as setting intentions, affirmations, working through emotional releases with clients, lots of table time, grounding (for yourself and your client); the Chakra system, crystal healing; exploring meditation at a deeper level and diving into the spiritual aspects of Reiki as students progress. These classes are part of a year long program that allows students to get into the Reiki room for real time appointments. Practicing the process of an appointment, checking in with teachers before and after a session, this is all part of the extended training you can take advantage of here at The Dojo.

Okuden Training
Third Degree topics will cover material as needed by the students. The experience of Reiki deepens here and the Practitioner is looking to discover their own inner teacher, their expertise and the way in which they will use Reiki in their lives. At this Degree, many are considering opening their own practice or becoming a Shihan (teacher).

Shoden Shares (Practice Circles)
At this level, many of the experiences with Reiki are new, bring up questions and require a shift in perception. This circle allows 1st Degree students to discuss these experiences, learn about the energy, how it feels and what sensations mean. You will practice a meditation, self healing and get an opportunity to ask questions about your self practice.

Mawashi (Practice Circles)
Gathering together at the tables with other Practitioners and Teachers is the perfect way to practice and learn at the same time. You can lose your jittery nerves with other students. Ask questions of the teachers. Experiment with hand positons, learn about Byosen (scanning) and practice the steps you use to call in your Guides, open and close a session. You get the chance to experiment with other students.

Reiki Sessions
Whether you book the Dojo with a few students for a mini Mawashi or you come for a session, this is the best way to grow your Reiki, both training and healing. Experiencing the flow and power of Reiki is the best way to boost your energy.

Degree Refresher Classes
Each Degree Refresher covers the basics again. We always start at the beginning, back to Page One. A solid self practice is the basis for all Degrees. The day focuses on answering your questions, helping you bring your practice back to the center and getting you back in touch with the elements of your Reiki.
This is a solid, jam packed day that can give you the boost you need. Haven't been using your Reiki lately? This is a great class. Students take this day before they move to the next degree. When you need a reminder, want to re-attune to your symbols or just need a day to get grounded into Reiki, this is the class.
